Relax and Focus
Before we get into anything specific, take a moment for yourSelf. Get comfortable and take a deep breath. Relax your neck and shoulders andlet go. Place your hand on your abdomen and gently bring your breath all the way down. Relax with every out breath. Gently let go, relax and release. This 9-minute audio program will assist you in deepening your breath and heightening your level of consciousness.

Create a Goal Plan

 

By putting your wishes to paper 

you will increase the likelihood of reaching your dreams

a thousand fold.

 

Studies have shown that when we write down our goals and dreams, we become far more likely to reach them. Do you have an idea why that is?

 

In order to mindfully create a fulfilling and joyful existenceand not leave the circumstance of your life to randomnessit is very important to first figure out what you want to create. While being grateful for the now, look ahead and wonder how you would like your next moment to be? Focus your mind and visualize. How would you like to feel when you exhale your next breath? And the next, and the next, and the next?

 

From that groundedness in the moment, cast your eyes further into the future. What would you like to manifest three or six months from now?

 

Be as specific as possible. You are literally setting a target. If you set a vague target, you have not much to aim for. The more specifically you set your goal, the easier you will reach it.

 

THE LAW OF ATTRACTION

But truly, this just sets the stage for the real magic to unfold. While you are thinking and talking about your dreams and writing them down, you focus your mind on that what you desire. And the more congruently you do this, and let your vision dance on the heartfelt rhythm of joy, the more you will send forth a powerful vibrational energy that the Cosmos will match--no questions asked.

    You will attract anything that you consistently give focus and joy. That is the Law of Attraction. That is Mindful Creation.

 

1. This week, you are encouraged to roll up your sleeves and put your  desires to paper. Please review the Quality of Life Domains Worksheet that you have partly filled out last week. Remember, the worksheet is just a tool to invite you to look at your life =holistically, but certain domains may not apply or other categories may be more important to you. Feel free to adjust.

 

Okay, for your health goal you picked something you always wanted to do: a bicycling vacation through the Rocky Mountains. Excellent! That's the kind of goal you want to set. Are you enthusiastic about all your goals? Are they fun, stimulating, exciting, or otherwise deeply gratifying?   

 

 

 

 

SPAM

 

 

SPECIFIC - Be as specific as possible. If you would like to live in a nice house, describe the size, the shape, the color, the location, the number of rooms, the view, and anything else that is important to you. Get a very clear picture of what you want. Grab another sheet of paper or turn your goal plan around and indulge in the details. You could write it all down or make a collage (vision board). Whatever you do: have fun with it! Dream away.

 

POSITIVE -  Write down what you want. Avoid writing, "I'm sick and tired of my job, I don't want to work there anymore."  Instead write: "I'm ready to move on and find a new job that is exciting and that involves travel to Europe"

 

ACCOMPLISHABLE - Set goals that you feel are attainable, but remember that you are the only one who determines that. So, be bold and believe in yourSelf.

 

MEASURABLE - If you want more money, be sure to set a measurable goal. How much do you want to make this year?$100,000?

In the second column, write down per life domain what specific goals you want to reach within 3 months. For instance, you want to ride your bike 3 times a week, get in shape, get a new bicycle after you have lost 10 pounds and ... plan your vacation. "Rockies, here I come!" Be creative and make sure it's fun.

3. Review the worksheet and wonder what goal is most important to you. In the third column, prioritize your goals--with your heart. Pick your top five.

 

 

SUPPORT

Reach out for people who truly support you. Try to find five supportive friends and limit contact with individuals who are challenged in supporting you.
