Relax and Focus
Before we get into anything specific, take a moment for yourSelf. Get comfortable and take a deep breath. Relax your neck and shoulders andlet go. Place your hand on your abdomen and gently bring your breath all the way down. Relax with every out breath. Gently let go, relax and release. This 9-minute audio program will assist you in deepening your breath and heightening your level of consciousness.

Align with Stillness

 

To align with your life-purpose and tap into a Cosmic knowing, it is necessary that you learn to control your mind. As spiritual beings having a human experience, many of us lose focus and get swept away by a tidal wave of drama. Like an over-excitable dog, we start chasing our own tail and snapping at everyone who challenges our preconceived notions.

 

Due to experiences and a socialization process, many of us identify ourselves with only a meager representation of who we truly are. Instead of powerful beings, we tend to see ourselves as failures and seek approval and recognition from others; always worried about maintaining our façade and defenses.

 

Your mind, like a faithful dog, will protect you according to how you relate to the world. If you perceive the world as threatening, your mind will respond like-wise. It will be hyper vigilant and ready to flee, fight or avoid. It will try to control the people and circumstances around you. This is a state of mind that feeds drama and creates wars.

 

We need to dissolve our addiction to drama and focus the mind on the truth: I am Spirit, You are Spirit, All is Spirit and All is Well. As spiritual beings we took on physical form to bring into manifestation the purest forms of consciousness. We are here to create heaven on earth. We are here to be in awe and celebrate each and every moment. We are here to create magnificent lives: joyful and purposeful. That's what our minds need to be focused on. The human mind is a powerful tool, but we need to be in charge: Spirit.

 

When you acquire the skills to focus your mind and submerge in stillness, your life will gain peace and balance. Answers to life-defining questions will come to you—with ease.  And you will develop mastery of your most powerful instrument for creating the life you desire: focused thought.
 

STRESS

“My life is too stressful," you may say. "Too many demands! I don't have the time to sit still, and if I do, my mind keeps on racing anyway."

 

Some stress is to be expected; life isn’t possible without it. Our muscles maintain a certain level of tension at all times, and that applies to life as well.

Yet, most people live with too many ongoing stressors. They experience a build-up of unresolved stressors from the past and a multitude of current stressors, such as relationship problems, financial challenges and problems at work. And all that stress creates even more stress: After a long day at work and a nasty conflict with her boss, Claire got stuck in a traffic jam. When she finally got home, she started raging "because" her son had left the milk out of the fridge.
Do you recognize this? What is in your pressure cooker?

 

 

How can you transform stress, anger and fear?
1. Be aware. Recognize the red flags that go up, such as a dull pain in the pit of your stomach, clinched hands, headaches or irritability. These are signs that you’re getting out of balance.
2. Acknowledge that you are feeling angry, fearful, sad or stressed. If you can locate the area in your body where the stress creates discomfort, put or imagine placing your hand there and take a deep breath. Be with the pain and breathe through it. 

3. Take full responsibility for the emotion, don't blame yourself or anyone else. No one is against you!

4. Realize that the discomfort is merely a Cosmic nudge for you to get back on track. Remember that you are here to create a magnificent life, full of love, meaning and joy. Be grateful for the reminder.

5. Refocus your attention to what you want to create and be grateful for all your blessings.

 

 

 

 

MEDITATION
In The ClearView Conspiracy, Channary shows us her routine to focus her mind:

"[…] and taking a deep breath, [Channary] repositioned herself on the bed, folded her legs, closed her eyes, focused her mind and went into a state of meditation. Her mind slowed down. At first, Channary focused on her breath, not intending to change anything. She just observed her belly go in … and out… in…and out… As an experienced meditator, she noticed a pleasant shift in her body and became aware of a warm sensation in the palms of her hands. Channary smiled. She breathed deeply and sunk deeper into a state of altered consciousness. Whenever she started to think about something, she noticed this and visualized the thought as a cloud. She invited the cloud to drift by, and re-focused on her breathing: in … and out… in and out… Starting from the top of her head all the way down to her toes, she allowed her muscles to relax. Little by little, her state of mind shifted from being limited to her body to a more limitless consciousness, in which she could access a deeper knowing."

RECLAIMING SPIRIT 1

 

Create a daily routine of deeply relaxing your body and mind through relaxation and breathing exercises, meditation and/or mindful movement, e.g. Tai Chi, Chi Kung and yoga. Experiment and do whatever feels good to you. It is important that you relax at least twice a day. Ideally, do a short relaxation exercise before you go to work in the morning, after lunch, and when you go to bed. Start out with just a couple of minutes, maybe five.

RECLAIMING SPIRIT 2

Meditate once or twice daily. Start out with five minutes. You may want to use a timer. Do not meditate longer than five minutes, unless you have repeatedly the urge to do so. Then, and only then, meditate for ten minutes. This way, you can build it up to longer meditation sessions. But if five minutes feel good, great!

 

RECLAIMING SPIRIT 3

This course is focused on uplifting your vibrational energy and transforming your day-to-day experience into a magnificent journey. In order to do that, it is essential that you establish a deep sense of gratitude. To assist you in this process, go to chapter 5 of your Spirits Onymous Handbook and fill out of the Gratitude List for this week.
